That's very worrying because I have no idea how I'm going to get this fixed without being able to contact an actual person from Paypal to help me through it. I have come across MANY posts like this and to be honest, most of them do not have responses. It's been 3 months and I can't touch my money at all. I am STILL locked out of my account and it's December.
I have already changed my Paypal password, called the Paypal number (can't ever get anyone on that number at all), made sure Paypal's short number wasn't blocked, etc. Yet somehow in mid-September, that changed and I no longer receive the verification texts. I've been a member of Paypal for years and my TextNow number has worked for at least the past year with no problem at all. I have been locked out of my account since mid-September, when all of a sudden PayPal's verification texts to my TextNow number stopped working.
